As a child, Raymond Reitze spent his free time learning from a Native American elder. With his knowledge in wilderness skills, Ray has gained international attention. However, Ray inherited much more than just physical skills. He learned an entire way of being.


About Masumi

Before coming to the Salt Institute for Documentary studies, Masumi spent a year in Sri Lanka on a Fulbright Fellowship studying education. She is a graduate from Brown University with degrees in Africana Studies and Development Studies. She has also been a nun in a Burmese monastery and is a yoga teacher.
